In our experiments, it was striking that the faces that were rated as being most attractive to exist in reality not at all. This became particularly apparent in the childlike-experiment in which it appeared that most participants (regardless of gender!), those women found most attractive, which have a face with the proportions of a 14-year-old girl. Such women are not in reality! There are pure art products ? results of modern computer technology.
The same is true for the morphed average faces: faces with such a smooth, clear skin, without the slightest blemish, there is not and cannot give it in reality. But this perfection is just that our subjects were so attractive. In this respect we can say: Most people do not exist in reality ? they are calculated according to certain principles from the computer.
Thus, it is also not surprising that among the faces that were in an expert survey of employees of a renowned Munich Model Agency designated as suitable for a model, 88% (14 of 16) faces were morphed computer. Only two ?real men?s faces? could keep up with these computer faces of the women?s faces, not one! Otherwise the taste of the population: 81% (13 of 16) of the most attractive faces were assessed with the computer generated.
