Two-way radios offer reliable communication for ski lift operators ...

ski lift operators can use two-way radios to connect with resort staff and increase efficiency.

Ski lift operators can use two-way radios to stay connected and increase efficiency. Motorola digital portable two-way radios provide ski resort employees with professional and reliable communication to respond quickly to maintenance concerns and emergencies.

The Motorola CP110 has enhanced audio that's 30 percent louder than previous models, so lift operators can hear messages loud and clear over the clamor of the lift-machinery. With features including 200 mW of audio output and wind-noise reduction, as well as protection against temperature shock, resort management can invest in these radios with confidence that they'll last through several ski seasons.

The user-friendly radio is lightweight at just 10.3 ounces and can be kept in a jacket pocket or clipped onto a waistband for easy retrieval. Should a skier accidentally slip into an area near the machinery, operators can stop the lift and have the radio ready to call ski patrol for help.

Lift operators can switch call channels to reach those at other lifts for extra help if they are experiencing unusually high volume or a jammed machine. At the end of the day, lift operators can communicate with staff to let them know when the last skiers are on their way up, so ski patrol can make sure they all make it down safely before the resort closes.?
