Leading Global Financial Institution is looking for a senior project finance specialist to re-locate to Brazil to help build up this emerging market space in America headquarters. The role will focus on the commodities space, especially the mining and energy markets, which are prevalent throughout South America. It will be reporting directly to the head of credit risk within the central risk department based in New York. The role will cover both wholesale and corporate sectors and will allow successful candidates an opportunity to gain invaluable experience at management within an emerging markets environment.
The Role
- Manage team within Project Finance Department
- Work within Emerging International Markets space
- Provide Senior Management back in New York with monthly performance reports
- Responsible for monitoring the credit risk of projects within the mining and energy commodities space
Ideal Candidate
- 3+ yrs experience within project finance
- Strong international markets knowledge
- Strong academic background (economics/finance)
- Willing to re-locate to Brazil
- Portuguese language skills
- Experience in mining and energy markets
